Esher: Elevating Home Design Standards

The brief

This much loved single-storey bungalow had been in the family for decades when the owners approached us looking to expand. Working closely with our clients who are passionate about their property, we proposed a ground floor rear extension and a loft conversion that would offer more living space whilst maintaining the character of the property.

The concept

Inspired by modern yet traditional Colonial architecture, we designed a light and airy orangery-style extension utilising the full width of the property and allowing for a balcony to compliment the first-floor master-suite. With lanterns over the flat roof, wall-to-wall glass and integrated window benches, this offers a bright and sunny living space that fit seamlessly into the surrounding landscape.
